Andrew Nisbet

Co-Chair Task Group on Integrated medical physics and biomedical engineering actions

Professor Andrew Nisbet is Head of the University College London, Department of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering, and has an honorary contract as a clinical scientist with the ULCH Radiotherapy and Proton Centres. He has over 30 years’ experience in medical and radiotherapy physics. He is Editor in Chief (Scientific) for the British Journal of Radiology and Senior Associate Editor with the European Journal of Medical Physics, Physica Medica. His research has been supported by a variety of funders including EPSRC, MRC, NIHR, CRUK, Innovate UK, EU and industrial funding. He has published over 150 research papers in high impact journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, Advanced Functional Materials and Nature Communications.
